Police in St. John's arrested a man Monday morning following a break-in at a nurses residence that has not been used for years.

A security patrol spotted the man in the residence near the now-demolished Grace General Hospital, off LeMarchant Road, in St. John's.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will respond to any attempts to militarize the Arctic, the head of the country's armed forces was quoted as saying on Monday during a visit to Abu Dhabi.
